Kadamba Transport Corporation - Olectra K9 Ebus - Interiors

These 12-meter long, air-conditioned electric buses are of monocoque chassis and have a seating capacity of 48 people and a driver with electronically controlled air suspension at the front and rear and disc brakes with ABS on the front and back to ensure a comfortable and safe ride for the passengers. These buses are equipped with CCTV cameras to ensure the commuters’ safety, emergency button, USB sockets for mobile charging, GPS tracking, etc. The lithium-ion battery installed in the bus enables it to travel up to 200-250 km on a single charge based on traffic conditions. The technologically advanced electric bus has a regenerative braking system that allows the bus to recover a significant part of the kinetic energy lost in braking.

Goldstone Infra-tech limited, a company based out of Hyderabad, In collaboration with BYD of China, The company is assembling full electric buses India.
BYD is biggest Electric Vehicle manufacture in world.
  • The K9 is 12m AC coach which can accommodate 39 passenger excluding driver & standees
  • The K9 is 12,000mm long, 2500mm wide, & 3300mm tall,with wheelbase of 6100mm, GVU of 18,500Kg.
  • The K9 is powered by Iron Phosphate battery pack of 32kwh/600Ah rating.It drives the twin rear wheel hub Ac synchronous motors of 90kw output rating each.
  • The K9 takes 4-5 hours for complete charge & can run upto 250-300 kms on single full charge.
