Latest Addition to BMTC's Fleet - Ashok Leyland Viking BS6 Buses.

 Ashok Leyland has started delivery of BS6 City Buses to BMTC, Ashok Leyland had secured an order of 565 buses. Bus body will be built by KMS Coachbuilders and SMK Prakash.

Latest Addition to BMTC's greener bus fleet- "Astra - Fuelling into Future", JBM EcoLife 9m Bus. 

  • The JBM - NTPC Consortium had won the tender to operate buses under the GCC model for 10 Years.
  • BMTC has to pay the JBM - NTPC Consortium 51.67 rupees per kilometer with electricity for 180 assured kilometers daily.
  • Buses will function as feeder services, providing last-mile connectivity to the Bangalore Metro.
  • JBM EcoLife 9m Buses delivered to BMTC are of the Non-AC variant and have a seating capacity of 33+D.
  • Buses are equipped with six Lithium, Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide (NMC) Battery Packs. In a single charge, a bus can cover a maximum range of 120 kilometers.

Exclusive ! India's First Volvo Eicher Premium Coach.

Presenting India's first Volvo Eicher premium coach, designed and built by Volvo Buses India's factory at Hosakote, Bangalore, On  Eicher 6016 R LPO Chassis.

Eicher 6016R LPO is powered by a 5.1 Liter VEDX engine it develops maximum power of 210 HP and flat torque of 825Nm at 1200 - 1600 RPM.

The first pair of coaches has been delivered to Sharma Transports, Bangalore. They have deployed vehicles in Bangalore - Mumbai route.

The fully air-conditioned Coach is a 43 seater vehicle with luggage space at 11.3 cu.m
