Due to increase in demand for premium sleeper coaches in Indian
market Volvo buses India & Prakash Bus Corporation (PCB), A subsidiary unit
of S.M.Kannapa Automobiles has stepped into OEM Agreement.
PCB will build Premium Sleeper coaches branded as Celeste on Volvo B11R 13.8
& 14.5m i-Shift Platform. 13.8m Variant can accommodate 36+1 sleeper berths
& 14.5m Variant accommodates 42 berths.
Celeste comes
with a newly designed attractive front fascia, which houses stylish &
powerful headlights, even rear profile has come with new show with simple &
elegant tail lamps.

The
issues, which where faced by Volvo shell sleepers, have solved in Celeste,
issues like less headroom for passengers in sleeper berths, small windows that
blocked outside view from passenger berths, narrow gangway many other issues have
solved in Celeste.
Celeste comes
with customized interiors operators can opt interiors as per their requirements,
it has a provision to install individual Android TV for entertainment system, charging
points, ABS Interiors etc.
